Read these instructions before you contact me. Just click and experiment. It's not hard, and you can't "break" a wiki.
General Notes
- When you list a page on your own page or from another page, it's okay to type a simple version of the name, such as "Zeus." But when you create the official page, please be certain to call it "Zeus 2009."
- When you have read these directions, you can always experiment on the Sandbox page first to make sure you can do it right.
Creating a Page Just by Typing Its Name
- Go into "Edit" mode.
- Just type the new page name and highlight it.
- Click on the little blue globe with the chain links (looks like a pair of glasses). It's between the curly arrow and the table icon. A new window will open.
- Select "PBwiki Page," "New Page," and type the page name (don't forget the 2009). The headings "PBWiki Page" and "New Page" should be the default settings, so all you have to do is type the page name. Select "OK." The window will close.
- The name of your new page should now be underlined in blue.
- Save the page you are currently editing.
Putting the Page Together
- Now click on the name of the new page. A new window will open.
- All our pages should be placed in OUR UNIQUE CLASS folder. If they are not, either the entire WWW can see them or you won't be able to access your own pages.
- Use default security and the blank template, which should be the default settings. Then click "Create page."
- If these options do not appear, click "more options." Then use the settings I have listed here.
- You should now be on your new page.
Setting Up the Page
- Be sure to enter "TAGS" (no quotes needed) in the Tags line that appears in edit mode.
- Start working.
